The attractiveness of the city as a place for shopping, working, recreation, culture and education should flourish in the long term. This is the goal of the City Marketing.

The City of Duisburg and the DMG are cooperating with institutions and representatives of private businesses in a Public-Private-Partnership. Concepts and measures are developed together to meet this end. Main bodies are the City Marketing advisory council, the Duisburg City Management association and the City Manager.
