Duisburg offers visitors the unexpected in addition to many highlights. Whether it's the Inner Harbour Duisburg ("Innenhafen Duisburg"), the Duisburg Zoo, Duisburg museums4, the Six Lakes Plains ("Sechs-Seen-Platte") or the Duisburg-Nord Country Park ("Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord"), our goal is to broaden the awareness of these attractions in order to foster city tourism.

One special focus point, and also an exceptional opportunity to promote tourism, are the major sporting events that take place again and again in Duisburg, such as the 2005 World Games and the 2007 Canoe World Championships.

The Tourist Information acts as the central meeting point and information location. We are offering hotel bookings, arranging guided tours, selling souvenirs, and are offering a comprehensive range of services, from the arrangement of all-inclusive special packages, to the organisation of conventions, and also any supplementary programmes requested.
