Mercatorhalle Duisburg in the CityPalais

The grand opening of the Mercatorhalle Duisburg, which is located inside the Citypalais, has taken place at the 21st April 2007. The Mercatorhalle will give place to any kinds of events like conventions, seminars, and concerts.

Set on about 15,000 m², it provides the optimal space for events. The Large Hall can accommodate 1,750 guests, can be adjusted to varying heights and, along with its state-of-the-art technology and barrier-free facilities, is equipped with a seating arrangement of your choice and a stage, whose size can be varied with a hoisting platform, according to the nature of the event.

The renowned and internationally-acclaimed Duisburg Philharmonic made their new homes here.

The Small Hall provides space for up to 529 people and, equipped with the most modern of technology and also flexible seating arrangements, can be used for many different kinds of events.

The gracious entrance areas of both halls can be utilised for not only performance breaks, it offers the best set-up for exhibitions and presentations, and can be integrated into conferences and conventions.

The Mercatorhalle has an exclusive conference area with 6 modern rooms available in varying sizes (25 to 278 places) and a foyer with flexible uses.

Above all that, there is a sophisticatedly furnished VIP lounge of over 130 m², which can be booked alongside an event or separately for, for example, business lunches or board meetings.
